Our company's production base is located in Zhangjiajie, in the heart of the northwestern Wuling Mountain area of Hunan Province. The forest coverage rate reaches 64.61%, characterized by a mid-subtropical mountainous monsoon humid climate with ample sunlight and abundant rainfall. It is an excellent ecological environment for the growth of Rhus chinensis and moss. The gall aphids parasitize on the petioles or the underside of the leaflets of Rhus chinensis, forming galls. After drying by baking, the product obtained is called gallnuts. The life cycle of the gall aphids is complex; besides Rhus chinensis, moss is also required as a winter host to complete their life cycle. It is precisely because of Zhangjiajie's unique warm, humid, and stable symbiotic system of aphids and parasitic plants that high-quality and abundant gallnut raw materials can be produced.
Our company currently has a 2,000-mu natural product plantation and plans to build a 100,000-mu natural product planting base.
